Graciela Salazar is the founder of GS Digital Marketing. She has 10 years of experience in marketing strategies, public relations, social media, advertising and content creation. Her experience spans broadcast television, print advertising, and digital marketing.
While majoring in marketing, she worked at the college student newspaper and soon was invited to work at Televisa Noreste in XERV and KHAB as a TV presenter. She was able to multitask and maintained both jobs while taking classes and being actively involved at the university.
After obtaining her Bachelor of Business in Marketing and minor in Communication degree, she worked at KGBT (CBS affiliate) as a producer, anchor, weather presenter and video journalist.
Graciela Salazar later worked for 7 years in the Marketing and Public Relations department for the Marine Military Academy. There, she was involved in all aspects of local, national and international marketing campaigns for the Academy, as well as social media.
She currently volunteer’s as the treasurer of the executive board and spokesperson of the Mr. Amigo Association in Brownsville, Texas. She works towards strengthening the relationships between Mexico and the United States and is involved in event organization, marketing, video content production, social media, and translations.
Graciela Salazar obtained a master’s degree in Spanish Translation and Interpretation in 2014 she is a member of the American Translators Association.
